1. What this site is

This site describes JWFFC, an independent community project intended to raise awareness and funds for the John Wall Family Foundation. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using it.

2. No affiliation, no endorsement

JWFFC is not operated, sponsored, endorsed, authorised or issued by John Wall, the John Wall Family Foundation, the NBA, or any NBA team. It is a tribute created independently by supporters. Should that ever change, it will be stated explicitly and publicly, with the permission on record. Until then, assume no relationship exists.

All third-party names, logos and trademarks referenced anywhere on this site remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

3. Not investment advice, and not a donation

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. No part of it is an offer or solicitation to buy any asset.

• Cryptocurrency is speculative and volatile. The token can lose all of its value. You should assume you may lose everything you spend, and you should never spend money you need or money you have borrowed.
• Buying the token is not a charitable donation. It is not tax-deductible and it does not make you a donor to the John Wall Family Foundation. If you wish to donate to the Foundation, use its official channels directly.
• No returns of any kind are promised. We make no representation about price, liquidity, market capitalisation or future value, and we never will.
• Amounts directed to the Foundation depend entirely on trading activity and are not fixed, promised or guaranteed. They may be small, or nothing at all.

4. Data shown on this site

Statistics, balances, holder counts and transaction histories are read from public blockchain sources and third-party services. They may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Where the site is displaying development placeholder data rather than live data, it is labelled as such. Always verify anything that matters to you directly on a block explorer. Do not rely on this site as your only source.

5. The free throw game

• The game is free to play. There is no entry fee.
• Nothing is staked, wagered, escrowed, won or lost. The game does not accept, hold or transfer tokens or money of any kind, and it does not read or alter your balance.
• Scores carry no monetary value and confer no entitlement, prize or claim.
• Attempting to manipulate scores or the verification endpoint, or to interfere with other players, is not permitted.

6. Holder recognition, rewards and collectibles

Everything described in the rewards and collectibles sections is potential. It is subject to eligibility requirements, verification, availability, applicable law, and — where a third party's name, likeness or property is involved — the necessary authorisation and licensing, which has not been obtained.

• Nothing described there is a guaranteed financial return.
• No athlete, team or league is represented as participating.
• Thresholds and criteria may be adjusted before launch, and are published in advance.
• No physical item is offered or promised until it has actually been secured and a fulfilment process exists.

7. Wallet connection

Wallet connection is read-only and optional. The site reads your public address to display your balance and tier. It does not request signatures or transactions, and it cannot access your private key or recovery phrase.

You are solely responsible for the security of your own wallet. We cannot recover lost keys, reverse a transaction, or retrieve funds sent to a wrong address. Nobody from this project will ever ask for your recovery phrase.

8. Scams and impersonation

Fake tokens, fake accounts and fake support staff are common. The only contract address to trust is the one published on this site and by the official accounts listed on it. We will never contact you first by direct message, and we will never ask you to connect a wallet to claim anything. We are not responsible for losses arising from third-party scams, clones or impersonators.

9. Availability and changes

The site is provided as-is, with no guarantee of availability, accuracy or fitness for any purpose. Features may change or be removed. We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators of this project are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, from any transaction you choose to make, from reliance on information displayed here, or from the acts of third parties. You use this site and participate in anything described on it entirely at your own risk.

11. Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and legally permitted to hold digital assets where you live. It is your responsibility to know and comply with your local law. Nothing here is offered where it would be unlawful.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Not legal advice, and not a substitute for a lawyer. This document was written in good faith to describe the project honestly. It has not been reviewed by counsel. Given that this project references a real person and a real charity, having a lawyer review the site before launch is strongly recommended.
